Inoleap Tourism is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe that everyone should have equal access to our platform.
1. Our Accessibility Commitment
Inoleap Tourism is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe that everyone should have equal access to our platform, regardless of their abilities or the assistive technologies they use.
We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our website and mobile applications to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards and other applicable accessibility regulations.
If you encounter any accessibility barriers while using our platform, please contact us immediately so we can assist you and work toward a solution.
2. Standards We Follow
2.1 WCAG 2.1 Level AA
We are committed to meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards, which include:
- Perceivable: Text alternatives for images; Captions/transcripts for media; Content that is easy to see and hear.
- Operable: Keyboard navigation for all functionality; Sufficient time to read content; Navigation aids.
- Understandable: Readable and understandable text; Predictable navigation; Error prevention.
- Robust: Compatible with current and future assistive technologies (Screen readers, etc.).
2.2 Global Compliance
- Section 508: We comply with guidelines requiring accessible electronic and information technology.
- EN 301 549 Standard: Following accessibility requirements for ICT products and services used in Europe.
- ADA Compliance: We comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), prohibiting discrimination based on disability.
3. Accessibility Features Currently Implemented
3.1 Visual Accessibility
- Color & Contrast: Minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text. Color is not the only means of conveying information.
- Text Sizing: Resizable text (up to 200% without loss of functionality) and readable font sizes.
- Images & Graphics: Alt text for all meaningful images. Decorative images marked as such.
- Visual Indicators: Clear focus indicators visible on all interactive elements for keyboard users.
3.2 Keyboard Navigation
- Full Keyboard Access: All functionality accessible via keyboard (No keyboard traps).
- Logical Order: Logical tab order through interactive elements.
- Focus Management: Clear focus indicators; Focus moves logically and is managed properly in modals and dialogs.
3.3 Screen Reader Support
- Semantic HTML: Proper use of heading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3, etc.) and lists.
- ARIA Attributes: Labels for unlabeled buttons, complex content descriptions, and dynamic content updates.
- Form Accessibility: All form fields have associated labels and clear error messages.
3.4 Mobile & Audio/Video
- Responsive Design: Content reflows properly on all screen sizes; Large touch targets (minimum 44x44 pixels).
- Captions & Transcripts: Provided for video and audio content where applicable.
4. Technologies Used
We rely on robust frontend frameworks (like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Vue.js, and Blade Templates) structured specifically to generate Semantic HTML. We utilize ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) support to enhance screen reader compatibility.
5. Known Limitations
We are aware of the following limitations and are actively working to address them:
- Video Content: Some older videos may not have captions or audio descriptions yet.
- Complex Tables: Some older data tables may lack complete header associations.
- User-Generated Content: Images uploaded by users (Hosts) may occasionally lack descriptive Alt Text.
Remediation Timeline: We aim to resolve high-priority issues within 30 days, and medium-priority within 90 days.
6. Browser & Assistive Technology Compatibility
Our platform works best with the latest versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and popular assistive technologies, including:
- Screen Readers: NVDA, JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (Apple), TalkBack (Android).
- Magnification: Built-in OS magnification and browser zoom (up to 200%).
- Voice Control: Standard OS voice command software.
7. Feedback & Contact Information
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our platform. If you encounter any barriers, please contact us:
- Email: [email protected]
- Live Chat: Available on the website during business hours.
Please provide a description of the issue, the page affected, and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge reports within 24 hours.
8. Remediation Process
Upon receiving a report: 1. We assess the severity. 2. We identify the root cause. 3. We implement a fix in our development environment. 4. We test the fix with assistive technologies before deploying it to production.
9. Enforcement & Complaint Procedure
If you believe we are not meeting accessibility standards, please contact us first. We will investigate and develop a remediation plan. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to file a complaint with your relevant National Disability Rights Organization or Consumer Protection Agency.
10. Third-Party Content Disclaimer
Our platform integrates with third-party services (Payment gateways, Maps, Social Auth) and displays user-generated content (Listings, Reviews). While we mandate accessibility from our vendors where possible, we cannot fully guarantee the accessibility of elements outside our direct control.
11. Assessment & Testing Methods
We employ a hybrid testing approach:
- Automated Testing: Axe DevTools, WAVE, Lighthouse, and contrast checkers.
- Manual Testing: Keyboard navigation and screen reader testing before each major release.
- User Testing: Ongoing feedback loops from users with disabilities.
12. Date of Statement & Review Schedule
This statement is reviewed Quarterly for accuracy and Annually via a comprehensive audit. It will be updated immediately when new features are added or limitations are resolved.
